As long as Israel continues to flaunt the basic rights of the Palestinians and so long as it does not rectify the basic injustice committed when the state was established in 1948, peace in Lebanon and the region will never be. We will always suffer from instability. Why? Because we will have the forces supprting Palestinian resistance on the one side and the US and Israel on the other fighting it out, and they will always have their proxies in Lebanon.
In 1948, Israel displaced the bulk of the Palestinian population and expects that they will simply disappear into thin air. Events of the last 60 years have shown that this won’t happen. This must be rectified or things well never be peaceful in this part of the world.
What we need now is a wiser America that will go back to its position pre-1967 and realize that Israel must be put in its place. It cannot be allowed to continue occupying the land of its neighbors and refuse to allow the Palestinian refugees to return, and refuse to recognize the rights of all Palestinians living under its sovereignty. Something has to give sooner or later.
If as seems obvious the US does not change its policies, then the gates of hell will remain open. And when the US gets burned, or Israel gets burned, don’t expect us to sympathize with you. What comes around goes around.
Wake up people – Israel will NEVER accept the right of return. If you are waiting for this to happen, then you are lost

You are being USED and ABUSED and remain living in the past… Our “Arab brothers” are very happy that Lebanon remain in the front line, while they, very quietly and discreetly are making deals with the Israeli “enemy”. Even our SISTER (a real whore) Syria, is negotiating with Israel.
Look, I think you are reading things into what I have written that is not there. I am only stating what Israel is facing as a reality. Whether I accept or don’t accept Israel’s existence is not the point. The point is that the hundreds of thousands of Palestinians who still live in misery represent a force that will always be a thorn in the side of Israel. What I think is not the point. Get it!
Zionists don’t want true Peace. Palestinians still live in misery but this is “normal”, they are “B”… Who doesn’t love occupation is “always” enemy……………………… “All” is “Hitler”… Hitler was european, not palestinian… The Past is not “now”.
